Acer has during an event in New York, a new ultrabook to its range. It is going to be a convertible ultrabook, which, like the Surface Pro from Microsoft on a tablet – and toetsenborddeel.
The Aspire P3 features a 11.6″screen with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels and ips panel. Acer gives the ultrabook with unspecified Core i3 and Core i5 processors, and there is 2GB or 4GB. The gpu is the HD 4000 on the Intel chip. The ssd capacity is 60GB or 120GB, depending on the model.
The hardware is just as variants of competitors like the Samsung ATIV Tab 7, and the Surface Pro by Microsoft in the tabletdeel. That part is 9,95 mm thick. In combination with the keyboard is the thickness 19,75 mm. The weight of tablet is 790 grams and the combination of tablet and toetsenborddeel turn 1,39 kilos on the scales. Furthermore, the battery has a capacity of 5280mAh and there is support for bluetooth 4.0 and wifi-n are present, while there is a single usb 3.0 connection on the P3. An extra battery or expansion of ports provides the toetsenborddeel not.
The Aspire P3 is, according to Acer immediately available in Europe and the starting price is 599 euro, which the company and its product as a clear cheap alternaternatief for the competition in the market place. The expectation is that the price of the Surface Pro from Microsoft around 800 euros as at the end of may in the Netherlands is available.
