Asus combines desktop and tablet, the Transformer AIO update

Asus has the Transformer AIO will be presented. The all-in-one running normally, Windows 8 on an Ivy Bridge processor. The 18,4″screen, however, can be disconnected, making a great tablet created. The tablet has its own hardware and runs on Android 4.1.

Update, 12:20 Thursday, march 7: The specifications of the Transformer AIO of Asus, appeared. The Transformer AIO P1801, as the device is called, will include a Core i3 3220, -i5 3350P, or -i7 3770 processor. On the motherboard is a B75 chipset from Intel, 4 to 8 gigabytes of ram, a gigabit lan port and a card reader. Optionally, the computer of a tv card. The tablet has 2GB of ram and 32GB of storage. The tablet also features a micro-SD slot, a usb port and a 3.5 mm jack for a headset or a microphone.

Asus has also confirmed that the product to which the undocked tablet Windows 8 it runs. When the user of the tablet by default is automatically a remote desktop app started, which in Windows will continue to work.

The P1801 will be out in may in the Netherlands. There is a version with the Core i3 processor and 4GB ram, which is 1249 euro will cost. The version with Core i5 processor and 8GB ram will 1349.
