‘LG take webOS for use in smart tv’s’ – update

LG reportedly has the rights to the operating system webOS acquired from HP. The Korean electronics manufacturer, the software would want to use as the platform for its smart tvs, while Android is the platform for the smartphones of the company would remain.

The acquisition marks a new phase in the troubled history of webOS.
