Samsung shows prototype smartphone with flexible screen

Samsung has released a smartphone was presented that a curved housing with screen. The device is based on the technology for bendable screens that the manufacturer showed you earlier. It seems Samsung, the prototype is only for demonstration use.

The CES shown smartphone has a Youm screen, the brand name that Samsung are bendable amoleds. The screen on the prototype bends to the top of the enclosure: this is the screen both on the front as a part of the back of the housing. The part on the back, the users would among other things, for notifications and messages can use, so let Samsung know during the presentation.

There are no properties known of the smartphone with the flexible screen, just as details about a possible release date of the phone. It is likely that the Korean manufacturer the presentation, only wanted to use the hardware to show.

Samsung is already involved with the development of bendable screens. It promised the manufacturer even though with cell phones that are bendable. Previously said the manufacturer is still, in 2012, devices with a bendable screen in the market had to come, something that ultimately was not successful. Therefore, it is plausible that such devices now for this year on the schedule.
