MMD brings new Philips 21:9-monitor with ah-ips panel from

MMD has two new monitors under the Philips brand name released. It is a 27″-copy with pls panel and a resolution of 2560×1440 and a 29″monitor with 21:9 aspect ratio, ah-ips panel and a resolution of 2560×1080.

MMD, a subsidiary of displayfabrikant TPV, has two new monitors for consumers and businesses to its product portfolio added. The first is a 27″screen with standard 16:9 aspect ratio. MMD reports that it’s a pls-panel, where Samsung, the supplier would be as pls or plane to line switching Samsung’s variation on ips. The resolution is 2560×1440 pixels. The monitor has an integrated webcam with a microphone.

In addition, there is a 29″monitor with ah-ips panel with resolution of 2560×1080 pixels. The aspect ratio of this model is 21:9. MMD comes with a commercial variant, with adjustable foot, webcam and a microphone, and a consumer version. The 21:9 aspect ratio growing in popularity. Also LG and Dell, for instance, such a wide monitors. Further details MMD did not yet have the monitor, but in the first quarter of 2013 will change that: the screens available. Also the prize will then be announced.
