Vuzix enters 2013 with a competitor for Google’s Project Glass

Vuzix has under the name Smart Glasses M100 is a hands-free smartphone display announced. The M100, which resembles the augmented reality glasses Google Glass, and communicates via wifi or bluetooth with the smartphone and features a camera.

The Smart Glasses M100 has a wqvga display with a resolution of 480×272 pixels. The mobile display can be used both for the left and right eye be worn.
