Joe Madureira, founder and creative guy with Vigil Games, is leaving the studio. He is going to new adventures. Madureira was the man that the appearance of both Darksiders games invented. Before he Vigil Games, founded, he had a successful career lwa re as a cartoonist.
Madureira leaves little about his plans. In response to comments on the tweet and the post on Facebook that he made his decision announced, let him know that he wants to continue as comic book artist and gameontwikkelaar, but not where his future as a developer. It also does not release why he is leaving and is full of praise for the studio. Who Madureira’s position at Vigil Games takes over, is not known.
Vigil Games was founded in 2005 and was founded by Madureira, along with David Adams, Marvin Donald and Ryan Stefanell. The studio is owned by publisher THQ. Vigil has two games delivered. Darksiders, an action game around the biblical riders of the apocalypse appeared at the beginning of 2010. In August leverder Vigil is the sequel Darksiders II. The stripachtergrond of Madureira is clear to both games.
