Samsung starts rolling out Jelly Bean to Galaxy S III

Samsung has started the rollout of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to the Samsung Galaxy S III. The first users getting the update already, but Dutch users yet. When the Netherlands and Belgium lwa to follow is still unclear.

Samsung had previously know Android 4.1, codenamed Jelly Bean, in October to want to roll to its flagship, the Galaxy S III. On the forum XDA-Developers allows a user, apparently from Poland, already know the update via Samsung update mechanism, Choose to update. Over-the-air updates seem to be not possible yet.

The Polish user, the firmware is uploaded, so that users outside of Poland can apply on their device. When Dutch users, the update can be expected, is still unknown, but most likely it will not be long in coming. Normally, updates are gradually rolled out to the servers to spare. It often happens that per country or carrier.

Android Jelly Bean, with versions 4.1 and higher, is the latest version of Googles mobile operating system. Compared to the previous version among other things, the interface is smoother and the search and information system Google Now included.
