Samsung brings Android 4.1 to cheaper Galaxy s

Samsung has announced which devices, in addition to the Galaxy S II and S III, a software update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Thus, the software among other things to the Galaxy Note, but also cheaper devices get the update.

In the list are further the Galaxy devices Ace Plus, Ace 2, S Advance, Mini II, Beam, Music, Chat, and S Duos. In addition to smartphones get tablets Galaxy Note 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is an update, just like the two versions of the Galaxy Tab 2. In total, therefore, for another fifteen devices to update to Android Jelly Bean is promised. However, it is still unclear when each of these devices the software; according to Samsung, this is ‘soon’.

Samsung has recently started rolling out the Jelly Bean update for owners of the Galaxy S III, though it is still unclear when that roll-out must be completed. Also promised the Korean manufacturer already with the new software to the Galaxy S II.

Google announced at the end of June Android Jelly Bean. However, there are still only a few devices, in addition to Googles own Nexus devices, the new software to run; many manufacturers should consult with their own software to customize before they have an update release for their users.
