Microsoft makes Note-app based Courier concept

The Microsoft Visual C++development team has a Windows 8 app built that is ge lwa nspireerd on the never-released Courier tablet. The app, Project Austin called, offers the user the ability to make notes.

The interface of Project Austin shows virtual paper that the user with a stylus can make notes. Also, photos can via the touchinterface to the notes are added. Created content can be shared via e-mail or on Microsoft’s cloudopslagdienst SkyDrive be placed. The source code is available on CodePlex.

In the development of Project Austin says the Microsoft Visual C++development team inspiration gained from the Courier-tablet. This concept went out of a tablet with two 7″touch screens and used a stylus. Microsoft has the Courier tablet, however, is never released.
