Whiskyblender and fashion company developing programmable t-shirt

Whiskyblender Ballantine’s and fashion company CuteCircuit have a first prototype of a programmable t-shirt shown. Ge lwa purchased can register on a special Facebook page.

The Scottish whiskyblender Ballantine’s and the British fashion company CuteCircuit are currently developing a portable, programmable t-shirt to develop, with the name tshirtOS. Now is a first prototype developed and the companies are asking interested parties to report on the special Facebook page.

The shirt contains a large number of electronic gadgets, such as a large led display, a camera, a speaker and an accelerometer. The operation is done by a smartphone with bluetooth and the screen is powered by 32 small processors. A battery supplies the t-shirt of electricity.

On the Facebook page a video of the t-shirt and a photo series on the construction of the prototype. In the video, let you interact with Twitter and Instagram to see and giving examples of how the t-shirt can be used. The movie promises soon more testing. It is not yet known when the t-shirt in production will be taken and what it should cost.

CuteCircuit is a company that has more ‘wearable technology’. As the company already had a dress with a huge led display around the entire body, and made it a dress that the wearer can call.
