No Battlefield 3 for Wii U due to a disagreement with Nintendo and EA

Electronic Arts has the development of the Wii U version of Battlefield 3 is discontinued and the title for Nintendo’s new console will be cancelled. Reason would be that the parties did not agree about the use of EA’s Origin platform on the Wii U.

During the E3 of 2011 showed Nintendo at its press conference a video of the planned line-up for the new console Wii U, including Battlefield 3. Since then, however, there is nothing more of the title are heard, and there seems to be a good reason for it to be. It is officially not yet known for what platforms the game will appear, but if there’s a Wii U version is coming, it is obvious that the pc, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 are not to be missed. Or there is also a version for the next-gen consoles from Sony and Microsoft are being worked on, is not known. The expectation is that Battlefield 4 in the fall of 2013.
