Medion introduces X-PC

The German Medion released its latest pc in the stores of Aldi are. The X-PC is from Wednesday to purchase and is shaped like a large letter X. The compact housing is made of aluminum and the device would be as a media center.

The X-PC is individually designed housing is compact, which the computer would make as a media center; the depth is 160mm and both width and height is 155mm. In the X-PC is space for a small moederbordje with an AMD apu, the E2-1800. The two cores thereof are on 1700MHz clocked and the Brazos-apu has a Radeon HD 7340 gpu on board. Video can be done with a vga or hdmi port, for example, to a monitor or tv screen.

The other hardware consists of a traditional hard drive of 320GB and four gigabytes of ddr3 memory. The X-PC, S1000 D has wi-fi on board, in addition to a card reader, a single usb 3.0 port and six usb 2.0 connectors. Furthermore, a s/pdif port, gigabitnetwerkaansluiting and two analog audio ports available. The small pc comes with the 64bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium; negentigdagen-test versions of Word and Excel are also installed. The pc will cost 299 euros.
