Microsoft makes in-app purchases in Windows Phone 8

Microsoft has announced that developers in Windows Phone 8 content to sell via an in-app-aankoopmechanisme. This should applicatiemakers enable more money with their software for the mobile OS.

According to the company the possibility of in-app purchases to add available for applications in the Windows Phone 8 Marketplace will be offered. This may involve the developers in the so-called App Hub-tool set what they are exactly within their applications against payment want to offer. It is also the price to be set, and in which countries the functionality should be available.

Competing mobile operating systems like iOS and Android, already have in-app-aankoopfunctionaliteit. It is also possible to have subscriptions to offer, but Microsoft seems to be not built-in to Windows Phone 8.

Microsoft announced Windows Phone 8 recently. The new version of the mobile operating system is based to a great extent on code from the desktop system, where the kernel is the same. By large parts of the code to reuse for the mobile operating system, the porting of Windows apps easier.
