Freecom comes with a compact external hard drive with Thunderbolt

Freecom has an external hard drive and released a Thunderbolt interface is provided. The Mobile Drive Mg, which is a casing of magnesium and especially for Apple-users is referred to, it is also equipped with usb 3.0.

The enclosure of the Mobile Drive Mg from Freecom is 15mm high. The manufacturer claims that this is currently the thinnest external hard drive with a Thunderbolt interface, is on the market. The hard drive is not only via Thunderbolt, the usb 3.0 connector will be approached. Freecom will be the storage device with a storage capacity of 1TB. By default, the disk will be formatted with the hfs+file system. The manufacturer claims a throughput that can reach up to 130MB/s.

Freecom provides the Mobile Drive Mg through its own store, Apple Stores and Apple Premium Resellers. The drive is from July available and will have a suggested retail price of 229 euros.
