Asus introduces all-in-one and laptop in the Transformer series

Asus has during his press conference at the Computex trade show in Taipei are the newest products in the Transformer series will be shown. The Taiwanese company has introduced an ultrabook with afkoppelbaar screen and an all-in-one.

The ultrabook, which the manufacturer of the Transformer Book baptized, is both an ultrabook and a tablet. The Transformer Book has, depending on the model, a Core i3, i5, or i7 processor from the Ivy Bridge series board and can be equipped with a separate video card. The storage is taken care of by an ssd or a hard disk, and the ultrabook has 4GB of onboard memory. Asus brings the ultrabook in three variants, with schermdiagonalen of 11.6″, 13″ and 14″. All screens have a full hd ips panel.

The screen can be detached from the rest of the ultrabook, so the ultrabook also tablet can be used. The device was demoed with Windows 8: the introduction will then also simultaneously with that of Microsoft’s new operating system.
