Tweaker brings CyanogenMod to HTC One X

A Dutch developer has released a first version of the popular custom rom CyanogenMod released for HTC’s Android flagship One X. it allows users a version of Android without Sense install skin.

User TripNRaVeR announced the release amongst other things, on GoT. The CyanogenMod-rom, based on Android 4.0.4 and version number 9 carries, there are still some defects, such as a non-functioning camera. Also, it is not yet possible to use the custom rom a wi-fi hotspot. Probably these problems will be in future versions fixed.

CyanogenMod is a custom rom which is based on the standard Android version of Google and does not have HTC’s Sense skin, which on the One X is included. Previously managed developers on the XDA Developers forum, there is already in to Sense in custom roms to turn it off.

HTC brought myself recently a new software version for its One X. The update, with version number 1.28, a number of things to resolve, including issues with battery life or flickering screens. Users report, however, still problems. HTC gave earlier, the problem with flickering screens are still under investigation.
