Dell unveils ‘special edition’-Inspirons with Ivy Bridge

Dell has introduced three new special edition notebooks in the Inspiron line on his website revealed. All configurations use a quadcoreprocessor from Intel’s ‘Ivy Bridge’generation: i7-3612QM. The prices vari lwa run between 700 and 950 euro.

On the Australian Dell website is the new Special Edition 15.6-inch Inspiron 15R-model. The three baselines have the same quadcore i7-3612QM-processor on HM77 chipset and a discrete HD 7730M gpu from AMD with 2GB of video memory. The configurations differ in the amount of working memory: 6GB for the cheapest up to 8GB for the two more expensive models. The entry-level model costs converted 707 euro, the middle class 864 euros and the most expensive 942 euros.

Also the screen resolution is different: the two cheaper configurations have a wled screen with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels, while the top model with a fhd screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The most expensive model will get a msata ssd of 32GB. All configurations have speakers from SkullCandy. About a release in Europe or North America, nothing is known.
