AMD has a price reduction of a large part of his desktopassortiment made. The manufacturer has the price reduction formalized after earlier indications that his model for the desktop, the FX8150 Bulldozer, cheaper.
Earlier this week, it seemed the AMD FX8150, the top model of AMD based on the Bulldozer architecture, a hefty price reduction. That turned out to be just the tip of the iceberg; a new price list that AMD is published, shows that the FX8150 is not the only processor that AMD is in a price reduction. Also other FX models, and AMD’s Llano-apus are considerably dropped in price. The prices shown are wholesale prices per piece for orders of thousands of pieces.
The apu’s got a price reduction of an average of 15 percent. The largest price decrease, both in percentage and in absolute terms, which is for the A8-3850, which is from 135 to 105 dollar will collapse, a price reduction of over 22 percent. The frugal A8-3820 fell the least in price, with a tight 11 percent, from 129 to 115 dollars. With the FX-series are the price drops a little less extreme; the model drops by about 16 percent, from 245 to 205 dollars, while the FX-6200 with only 10 dollars, accounting for slightly more than 6 percent, from 165 to 155 dollar will collapse.
