After Expedia has TripAdvisor now also to the European Commission complaining about Google. The search giant, which recently sometimes even flight information displays, is under fire because the company has its own services would benefit.

Expedia had already complained to the European Commission; now TripAdvisor, that until december still part of Expedia, was that also done. TripAdvisor has just explained to complain about ‘anti-competitive and unfair practices” of Google. Probably is TripAdvisor, just like Expedia, dissatisfied with Google Flight Search, writes Bloomberg. Both sites offer the option of flights and hotels to book.

Recently Google, in certain cases, itself, links to airlines, as with Google Search to flights search. The service is in the Netherlands not yet available. The complaints of Expedia and TripAdvisor have come at the time that the European Commission is thinking about a research on Google for unfair competition. A decision probably follow this month.

Google says compared to Bloomberg, the complaint is still not to have seen. Previously said Google’s executive chairman Eric Schmidt during a meeting for journalists in the Hague that Microsoft’s complaints about Google to the European Union ‘sponsors’. According to Schmidt wants Google in addition, its own services will not benefit. “Our goal is to provide a user the best possible answer to give,” says Schmidt.

In 2010 bought Google is still a company that develops software for flight information and compare airfares. Even back then, were competitors with skepticism, and the U.s. department of justice proposed conditions to the acquisition. So should Google the software of the company continue to develop and new clients to accept.

Google is already under fire for its own services would be an advantage when displaying search results. Google shows, for example, own weather forecasts, and product reviews by Google users are now. Also results from its own social network Google+ are between the search results is displayed. Twitter had recently still not happy with tighter integration of Google+.
