BioWare announces Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut, a free downloadable expansion for the rpg, that more explanation should give about the end of the game. The studio is responding to complaints from fans about the end of ME3.

The Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut is a downloadable content pack, which provides in-depth commentary on the events at the end of the rpg, allows developer BioWare, in a statement. This is done through additional cinematic sequences’ and ‘epilogue’ scenes’. Thus hopes BioWare fans of the game clarification about the end of their personal journey through the game. The extension is this summer, free to download for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and pc.

Fans of Mass Effect 3, since 9 march, to buy, left soon after the release of the game their dissatisfaction appear to be about the end, which is also an end to the story from the first two parts of the trilogy. They started a petition to BioWare to move a different ending for the game to come up, that players have more influence. BioWare came to the signatories of the petition less than two weeks later to meet and promised the end of Mass Effect 3 to fit. Director Ray Muzyka showed already then, apart from the fact that BioWare ‘questions of players will reply and clarification, want to give to players that have a better end look to their journey.’
