Sony Computer Entertainment has announced that the annual GT Academy tournament on 1 may of the start. Ontwikkelstudio Polyphony has a stand-alone kwalificatiemodule, making Gran Turismo 5 is no longer required.

The tournament, organized by automaker Nissan and Sony Computer Entertainment, eventually there will be three European grid of racing talents and an American racetalent yield.
