EA has single-player bans through Origin on

EA has a change in its ban policy on Origin, allowing players to now still, with an adjustment in the settings, the single-player portion of games. EA had previously, after the fuss, promised to the banbeleid to review.

User users of the digital distribution service, Origin can now, by checking the Go Offline mode in the settings window, still have their purchased games, without multiplayer. Previously gold a ban through the forum of Electronic Arts was obtained for the entire Origin service, including the single player; players could have their games no longer start at the Origin.

The change comes after EA’s promise of november to the banbeleid to review. The new approach now matches that of competitor Steam, which bans between the various components of the service should be kept separate.
