Samsung has in the past quarter Nokia of the throne as the market leader in the sale of mobile phones, suspected analysts. Nokia sold for fourteen years, most mobile phones, but the hegemony of the Finnish company seems to be over.

Samsung has in the past quarter probably for the first time, more mobile phones sold than Nokia, is evident from a tour of Reuters with analysts. Nokia has sales figures already announced, but Samsung only comes at the end of april with the figures.

Analysts estimate the sales of Samsung to an average of 88 million mobile phones and that there would be five million more than the 83 million from Nokia. Nokia made sales of mobile phones known when a profit warning earlier this week.

Nokia was around 1998 and the market leader in the sale of mobile phones and has that position in any case until the end of 2011 held. However, it fell a year ago, its leading position in the field of smartphones lost, while Samsung in the Netherlands, Nokia in 2010 voorbijstak.

Samsung was only a few years, the number two; to 2007, the sale of Motorola more mobile phones than Samsung. By now, the American manufacturer, who is presumably through Google is being taken over, much diminished. Where is Motorola in 2007, more than 150 million phones sold, it is now worth 40 million devices per year.
