Bol.com and Coolblue big winners Thuiswinkel Awards

Bol.com and Coolblue are as big winners emerged at the presentation of the Thuiswinkel Awards. The two companies came together a third of the prices within. In addition, Coolblue voted ‘Best Webshop of the Netherlands’.

The Thuiswinkel Awards is an annual election in which Dutch internet users on their favorite web shop can vote in twenty different categories, including consumer electronics, telecom and computer hard-and software. Bol.com it has won in the categories Books & Magazines, Movies, Games & Music, Toy and department Stores. Coolblue won in the categories of consumer Electronics and Telecom. In the category ‘Computer hardware and software” won 123inkt.nl while PayPal.nl and Zoover.nl to get started in the respective categories of Financial Services and comparison sites.

In addition, a jury Coolblue voted ‘Best Webshop of the Netherlands 2012’. The company operates 141 stores, including Laptopshop.nl and Consoleshop.nl, which together annually for 40 million visitors. “We are proud of the Thuiswinkel Awards we have won,” said Peter Black, director of Coolblue. “Winning the Prize for Best Webshop, we see it as a confirmation of the work that we 281 Coolblue’ers do, but maybe the people’s choice awards have been even better: ultimately, it is the voices of consumers that count.”
