Facebook has the mobile browsertest Ringmark released, together with Bocoup. Facebook wants mobile web browsers standard tests to endure, just like desktop browsers. The codebase will be open source.
Soon the Ringmark test open source by publishing on GitHub and the codebase is being donated to the W3C organization. The test works in three stages, by Facebook ‘rings’. The first phase goes about the basic functionalities for developers. Each ring further is a lot more sophisticated, but need to get the previous ring was fully achieved. There are a total of four hundred tests, but the developers hope to see more tests on the Ringmark suite to add.
