Samsung has an Android smartphone with a picoprojector shown. The Galaxy Beam GT-i8530 runs on Android 2.3. The projector according to the manufacturer’s hd-images show on 20 lux with a maximum diagonal of 50″.
The Galaxy Beam has the picoprojector at the top of the unit sit. The beamer can be enabled via supplied software from Samsung itself. The projector can images output with a maximum resolution of 1920×1080 640×360 pixels.
The smartphone runs on Android 2.3, covered with Samsung’s own skin TouchWiz. The screen has a diagonal of 4″ and a resolution of 800×480 pixels. The device runs on a dual-core processor in the form of a Nvidia Tegra 2. The processor cores are clocked at 1GHz.
The Galaxy Beam i8530 follows the Galaxy Beam i8520, Samsung two years ago showed telecombeurs Mobile World Congress. The device came out in only a few countries, such as Singapore. The Beam i8520 did not come out in Europe.
