Director ING: failures caused by human failure

At least two of the various problems in the telebankierwebsite of the ING are caused by human errors. That has ING director Jan Hommen said Thursday it on Radio 1. The ceo also made his apologies to customers of the bank.

According to Hommen are the countless failures at internet banking, ING is not acceptable. The ceo argues that there is, in at least two cases human errors are made but he gave no details. Also would be various technical problems have voortgedaan.

Hommen made his excuses for the many failures. The ING director denies, however, the rumors that the bank’s legacy systems would work. Hommen promises that the ING, will have to do in the future such a wave of failures to avoid.

In the past few weeks, ING has had to contend with at least five failures in which the website of the ING for three days was unreachable for customers. It is also iDeal but no good for ING customers. In at least one case, there was a databasestoring. Furthermore, the bank was forced to temporarily put a limit on the number of customers could use online banking.
