The gpu of the economical Trinity apus with a tdp of 17W, according to AMD itself is twice as high score in 3DMark as a Intel Core i5 with 17W-tdp. Also scores the gpu according to AMD’s expected 56 percent higher than the igp of Ivy Bridge.

According to AMD scores the next fuel-efficient A6-apu codenamed Trinity, and tdp of 17W 2355 3DMarks. The HD Graphics 3000-igp of Intel Core i5 2537M with a tdp of 17W, scores according to AMD 1158 3DMarks. This corresponds with the scores on Notebookcheck.

It is assumed that the igp in Ivy Bridge processors 30 percent better scores than that of Sandy Bridge. If this assumption is correct, scores on A6-apu is still 56 per cent better, is the conclusion of AMD. If the scores correct performance of thin notebooks with Trinity on the graphic plane better than coming ultrabooks with Intel chips.

At slightly thicker notebooks with A10 apu’s from AMD, which has a tdp of 25W, the score allegedly completely in favor of AMD. These chips would be 3600 3DMarks score: 139 percent higher than the probable Ivy Bridge-score, although these are derived from the scores of a Sandy Bridge chip with a tdp of 17W. The figures come from a presentation by AMD on Friday, discovered VR-Zone. Or is the difference really so big is, should this summer turn out, as both Ivy Bridge and the Trinity came from.
