Zotac introduces three compact pcs

Zotac at CES three versions of its Zbox range of compact pc’s are shown. They are by Intel’s Sandy Bridge and Atom processors and AMD’s fuel-efficient apu powered. The pc’s are as barebone or with memory and hard drive available.

The entry-level model with an Intel Atom processor on board is the ID80 series. A 2.13 GHz geklokte Atom D2700 with two cores forms the basis of this pcs, supported by an Nvidia GT 520M graphics card. There are two memory slots for notebookgeheugen present in which up to 4GB ddr3-ram can be inserted. The ID80 Plus model with 2GB of memory and a 2.5″hard drive 320GB supplied.

The Sandy Bridge model, the ID81-series, and dual-core Celeron 857 on board that 1.2 GHz is clocked. The geïntgreerde Intel HD Graphics ensures the picture, and also this model is equipped with notebookgeheugen. A hard drive or ssd with sata-600 interface, it can connect to the system board and in the Plus model is a 5400rpm hard drive of 320GB built-in, along with 2GB of memory. There are four usb 2.0 and two usb 3.0 ports available.

The AMD model is the AD04 series, which is powered by a E450-apu which both cores at 1.65 GHz tap. The apu has a Radeon HD6320 gpu on board, and the board supports again laptopgeheugen, with a maximum capacity of 8GB. In the Plus model is the same hard drive as in the other Plus models comes along with 2GB of memory. However, it is possible a sata-600 ssd in the build.

The new generation of Zbox pc’s come with usb ports at the front and rear, and with gigabit network ports. Zotac delivers, unlike the previous generation, an external antenna for wi-fi n connectivity and also the bluetooth got an upgrade to version 3.0. The compact housings with vesa mount for displays and with a foot delivered. Zotac also sends a remote control, so the Zbox as a media server can be used. Prices are not yet known.
