‘Ziggo customers streaming music service offering’

Ziggo would be customers a streaming music service want to offer. The kabelaar has signed an agreement with the company Aspiro. The company has, among others, in Scandinavi lwa all such services on the market.

The Norwegian company Aspiro shows on its website that it is a two-year agreement to the value of approximately 1 million euro has closed with Ziggo. Details about how Ziggo Wimp, the streaming-music service from Aspiro, is going to offer, are still unknown; the kabelaar let us know, as yet, only the agreement with Aspiro to want to confirm.

Ziggo follows with the agreement, the example of other large isps. This provides KPN with a share of its customers that certain all-in-one-purchase packages free of charge Spotify. In Belgium, Belgacom provides the streaming Deezer music service to their internet subscribers, and also Telenet would do this plans have.

Currently, the streaming-music platform Wimp available in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Under a different brand name offers Aspiro similar services in Portugal and the company aims in the short term, it is also active in Germany and Ireland.

On the Norwegian website of Wimp claims to be the music service currently 13 million tracks in its library to have included. The platform would be accessible on all operating systems, including on mobile phones and on the Squeezebox from Logitech. A subscriber pays in Norway, approximately 13 euro per month.
