Sony announces first Xperia phone without Ericsson to

Sony has its first Android phone in the Xperia line was announced after the full owner of the joint-venture Sony Ericsson. The Xperia ion runs on a 1.5 GHz dualcoreprocessor and has a 4,6″screen.

The screen has a diagonal of 4.6″ and a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, as announced by Sony at consumer electronics show CES.
