Sharp makes approximate 60″-, 70″ and 80″lcd tv’s known

Sharp has the targets disclosed of lcd tvs larger than 60″ that come to the Netherlands. It concerns a total of five new models at the CES trade fair are shown. The 80″lcd tv in march will be available from approximately 5000 euro.

The 80″tv as model number 80LE645E, is equipped with an rgb panel, and from march available. The 80LE645E has backlight leds behind the panel for uniform light distribution, but local dimming is not possible. Sharp has still no official retail prices have been issued, but the target price of the 80″tv is around 5000 euro. The tv would be the only one of the five mentioned in this article, models no 3d support.

In addition, Sharp two 70″lcd tvs in the Netherlands: a high-end model with the Quattron panel and one with a normal rgb panel from Sharp. The first is the 70LE835E with full led backlight without local dimming. This tv is from the 20th of January available for a target price of around 4000 euro. The simpler model, the 70LE740E, has an rgb panel and full led backlight, and is from april or may are available for a target price of 3000 euro. Two 70″lcd tvs are equipped with 3d support.

In addition to the in september introduced 60LE635E, a model with a rgb panel without 3d support, Sharp in the beginning of 2012 two new 60″tv’s deliver in the Netherlands. These are the 60LE740E and the 60LE840E. Both models have edge-lit led backlight and 3d-support, but the 60LE840E has a Quattron panel, while the other model features a panel without yellow subpixels. Also get the 60LE840E an aluminum frame instead of a plastic such as on the CES. The 60LE840E get a target price of 2299 euros, while the 60LE740E likely to 1799 euros.

All five tv’s have wi-fi built-in and are equipped with AquosNet+, Sharps online-tv platform. Sharp is the only manufacturer with a factory, which is equipped for the mass production of screens of 70″ and larger.

At its CES booth showed Sharp also a setup with the prototype of the 4K Sharp tv with ICC-4K image processing engine, which we had previously been behind closed doors saw at the IFA trade show in september. The arrangement left the 60″-4K-tv and to the right, a normal full hd tv of the same size. Both receive a 1080i signal and the tv on the left is the signal geüpscaled to the 4k2k format of the panel. The image on the left is clearly sharper than the right, without any visible artifacts.

In addition, Sharp designed a space for his Elite-lcd-tv-series. Sharp blew in August that a sub-brand of Pioneer new life. The Elite series consists of a 60″ and a 70″model, with a Quattron panel with full led backlight with local dimming. The Elite series is not in the normal retail channel in the U.S. to find, but it is only through installers and av specialty stores. The image quality of the Elite series is very good.
