There is a third party reported to the French company behind the Linux distribution Mandriva to take over. Only on 23 January, however, clarity about the future of the company, bankrupt and in danger of going.

“We want to make known that a proposal is submitted by a third party to Mandriva to take over,” writes Jean-Manuel Croset, coo of the company. Shareholders of Mandriva get now is the time to express their views on this proposal.
