In 2011, the government, especially the police, more than 2.3 million times information about customers of telco’s and isp’s requested. That number is for the second year in a row decreased. The withdrawal of the security forces will not be counted.

The Ministry of Security and Justice has the number of enquiries published. Administrations and the criminal investigation department and the police, in 2011, less data is requested. They asked in 2010 to 2.6 million times the data in 2011 was 2.3 million times; that’s a decline of more than 10 percent.
