Canon has a new compact camera announced with a new of 14.3-megapixel sensor The PowerShot G1 X has a lens with 4x zoom and a fold-out lcd with a diagonal screen size of 3″.

The image sensor of the G1X is-according to Canon-a brand-new design along with a dimensions of 18.7x14mm the largest sensor that the company is now in a compact camera stopped.
