Anxious to Shimon Peres

Peres was, until 2014, for seven years, Israel’s state President, twice head of government, and several times a Minister. He was regarded as the father of the Israeli nuclear program.

Of 1923, the Polish-born son of a wood merchant, emigrated in 1934 to Palestine. With the Peres Center for Peace in Tel Aviv, he fought for a peaceful solution in the middle East conflict.
