Ziggo has its app for watching live tv made suitable for iPhone and iPod touch. The software, which was released recently, was so far only suitable for Apple’s iPad. The app is free for customers of Ziggo.
This is the software now available for all iOS devices from Apple. The app supports the iPhone from the 3GS version. To Ziggo TV to make it work on a iPod touch, the user must have an iPod touch third or fourth generation. Also need iOS 4.3 or higher on the devices running.
Ziggo brought recently version 2.0 of Ziggo TV, which provides live television introduced for iPad users. It is possible to find the channels Nederland 1, 2 and 3, RTL 4, 5, 7, and 8, and NET5, SBS6 and Veronica. Customers with an internet connection from Ziggo the app is free to use. It is for the time being not possible to watch tv via a different internet connection.
The provider also has an app for Android Honeycomb tablets, but it is not possible to live to watch television. Ziggo did not know whether there is also an Android app for live tv watching is available.
