Apple has Samsung in Germany again sued. Samsung was previously a sales ban imposed for his Tab 10.1, because it is too much on the iPad would look like, and therefore came with a new version. Apple also wants this ban.
The complaint Apple filed with a court in Düsseldorf and refers to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 N, a new version that recently in the German shops appeared. Apple is of the opinion that the new model is still too similar to its own iPad tablet. For that reason, explained the court already has a sales ban for the original version. On december 22, a hearing is held where both parties be heard.
Samsung’s new variant of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 was recently noticed, and differs from its predecessor, especially at the edges. The metal edge is extended to the front, but the N-version seems to continue still has a lot on his predecessor. Therefore, it is unknown whether the court, the adjustments are enough will be found, so that there no longer is infringing the design right of Apple.
The lawsuits between Apple and Samsung drag for some time in different countries. Also in the Netherlands got Samsung to do with a sales ban. It was going to be the smartphone Galaxy S II, where Samsung was infringing on a patent in its photo gallery app. The Korean manufacturer did under the sales ban to arrive by the software. Also in other countries, such as Australia and the United States, lawsuits are conducted.
