Disney and Google have signed a deal, where both companies are going to invest in the creation of unique video content, then YouTube is published. Google already gave earlier to dedicated YouTube channels.
That announced by both companies on Monday. Allegedly to invest the companies have worked together 10 to 15 million dollars in the content. That should ensure that there constantly is working on new content for at least eight series at the same time, which short episodes on YouTube, will be screened. Then divide the both companies the income from ads.
The Disney channel on YouTube must have in the beginning of 2012 are filled with video content. This is part of disney’s new strategy, which is also a new website is being created in which the content is also displayed. In addition to unique series, there are also existing series is shown, and there will be user-uploaded videos.
Disney closed already deals with the streaming service Netflix, and Amazon for the display of video content. In addition, it came out that Google with its YouTube service pages for different content providers want to set up, that the exclusive content want to get. Therefore, it is expected that there will be more content providers, which video on YouTube.
