Overheidscomputers Japan had backdoor

Computers of Japanese embassies, including those in the Netherlands, consulates and parliament are attacked. On the computers is a backdoor ge lwa installed. According to the Japanese government, there are no confidential data stolen.

The Japanese newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun wrote Tuesday that the computers of Japanese members of parliament were broken. There remains, however, not at the systems at Japanese embassies and consulates would be attacked, including the Japanese embassy in the Netherlands. That reports news agency AFP.

On the computers would viruses were detected; there was a backdoor installed. The Japanese government states, however, that no confidential information is stolen. In the attack on the parliament would also no personal data are taken; or that the attack on the foreign diplomatic missions, as was, is unclear. Now would the viruses have been removed.

The attack on the parliamentarians, from a server from China performed, the Yomiuri Shimbun. That does not mean per se that the attack was actually from China comes; the attackers can have their ip address gespoofd or a vpn tunnel.
