HTC has announced which of its smartphones in term of new Android version Ice Cream Sandwich will be provided. Of the devices in the Netherlands are released going to be the Sensation and Evo 3D.

That left the Taiwanese manufacturer to know on his Facebook page. In addition to the first version of the Sensation are the two successors Sensation XE and XL will also come with Android ICS, version 4.0. There were already suspicions that HTC for these devices, an update to the new Android version would make. The manufacturer did not know exactly when the update is released, but claims that this early in 2012 on the devices appears.

It is noteworthy that HTC makes no mention of older devices, such as the Desire S, Incredible S and Desire HD. These seem to be therefore, outside the boat to fall. Would these devices, Android ICS can run, as Google has proclaimed that smartphones that are Android Gingerbread be able to run, also suitable for the successor. Users of these devices can probably do custom roms with ICS install, as soon as developers the source code to do this to get your hands on.
