A Chinese website has details about Intel’s upcoming processors codenamed Haswell published. The desktop and mobile processors are the successors of the beginning of 2012 to introduce Ivy Bridge-generation and come out in 2013.

According to the slides that the Chinese Chiphell published, will Haswell build on the road with Sandy and Ivy Bridge is smashed. The Haswell cpu’s like Ivy Bridge on 22nm produced, working with dualchannel ddr3 memory and have an integrated gpu. The gpu supports DirectX 11 and shares the cache with the cores of the cpu. The cpu is equipped with two or four cores, and there are variants with and without hyperthreading.

The socket for desktopprocessors will be a change and will not be compatible with the lga1155 socket for the current Sandy Bridge and future Ivy Bridge processors. For Haswell comes a new H3-socket for desktops with 1150 pins, while the mobile variants in a 947 pins storey G3-socket to be inserted. Would the motherboard and koelingsontwerpen largely unchanged.

The tdp’s for desktopprocessors amounts according to the slides 35, 45, 65 or 95W; the mobile variants get tdp of 37, 47 and 57W. A third type of Haswell processor, especially for ultrabooks, as a single chip package to be built, in which the processor and chipset in a single package to be processed. The tdp thereof, with two cores on board, would 15W to go the amounts.

The Haswells get support for pci-express version 3.0, Thunderbolt, the avx 2.0 instruction set, three displays and 3d images. Also the power management would be greatly improved, thanks to more efficient display technology, and wlan chips. For the Shark Bay platform, as the combination of Haswell processor and Lynx Point chipset is called, appears on the market, we will as I said first, however, Ivy Bridge face. That should be the beginning of 2012 to happen.
