Canonical has the final Ubuntu 11.10 is released. Version 11.10, codenamed Oneiric Ocelot wears, has an improved Unity interface and some new applications. Also, there are ARM versions, both for the desktop and for servers.

The Unity interface, which in version 11.04 was introduced, according to Canonical in Ubuntu 11.10 is easier to use. There is both a 2d as a 3d version of Unity available, the latter makes use of gpu acceleration.
