Blizzard sells server blades WoW for good purpose

Blizzard is going through eBay 2000 server blades auction, which right after the introduction of the World of Warcraft and the servers of the developer were. The proceeds from the auction will go to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.

On 17 October, Blizzard Entertainment with the auction of 2000 HP BladeSystem server blades. In 2005, in the early days of World of Warcraft, the successful mmog from the developer on these blades hosted. The auction is via eBay and runs until 14 november, with each week a new group of blades is offered for sale. On the 2000 blades were 500 European and North American WoW servers hosted. Blizzard sets the auction proceeds available to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which researches cancer and other deadly childhood illnesses.
