“Toshiba introduces 2.5-inch-drive 3TB”

Toshiba has announced a 2.5″hdd announced with four platters of 750GB each, for a total storage capacity of 3TB. In addition, the company has a new sshd from which the nand controller is part of the hdd extensively.
