The A4WP technology is based on magnetic resonance. Devices do not directly make contact to wireless charging, and multiple devices with different power needs are at the same time to load. The two standards have now jointly the competing standard, Qi of the Wireless Power Consortium before him. Among others, HTC, Samsung, LG and Nokia made devices with support for charging via induction based on the Qi standard.
