Xiaomi, according to rumors, working on a laptop that has an Intel Haswell i7-4500u processor together with 16GB of werkgegeheugen. That rumor, however, proved incorrect: Xiaomi denied it and the published image also proved to be fake.
On Gizmochina were the photos and some specifications were published of the alleged Xiaomi laptop. The notebook would feature a 15″display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The Chinese manufacturer offers an Intel Haswell i7-4500u-cpu along with two times 8GB of memory.
The design of the laptop is reminiscent of a Macbook Air. Unknown is how much storage capacity the laptop gets and whether there is an ssd available. According to Gizmochina running the laptop not the Windows default, but a custom Linux version. The introductory price would be in China around 3000 yuan, about 400 euro.
