“Samsung put Tizen on all of its smart tvs in 2015”

Samsung provides its entire upcoming line of smart tvs of a platform based on Tizen, the operating system that the Korean company also used to smartwatch, and cheap phones. The tv line of 2015 will get by default, Just Dance.

At the same time with the switch to Tizen for Samsung’s Smart Platform for tvs, the company has the Smart Hub environment an update given that navigating to content easier. Tv’s from the new line will support Wi-Fi Direct for sharing content from and to a mobile device. Tizen is a Linux-based opensourcebesturingssysteem that builds upon the LiMo platform. Samsung used it already for smartwatch and cheap smartphones in India and other emerging countries. Competitor LG uses WebOS for its smart tvs, that also comes out of an operating system for mobile devices.
