Hitachi spends tv production

Hitachi is the production of tv’s outsourced to manufacturers in Taiwan. Currently, the Japanese group in its home country has an own production line for televisions. Hitachi keeps under his own name tv’s sell.

Outsourcing the tv production of Hitachi following the poor quarterly results that the company last week presented. The division, where tv programs are recorded in the first quarter, which ended on June 30, a nine percent lower sales than a year earlier, while net profit was down almost sixteen percent fell to 28.2 million euros.

Other parts manufacturers have suffered from the tight tv market. As reported Sony that it is more going to focus on the more expensive tv segment and announced a reorganization of its television division. The company saw sales of the Consumer Products & Services division, where tv’s fall last quarter, with a 17.9 percent decline compared with a year earlier, while the income of 25 million euro to 1.5 million euro plummeted.

‘Market conditions” in Europe and the United States accounted for the poor figures, but sales of Sony tvs in Japan rose still. The increased demand in the home country was a result of the cessation of analog tv broadcasts on 24 July of this year.

Panasonic, Samsung and LG also suffer consequences of the saturated tv market. According to DigiTimes considering Panasonic for the production of tv programs, partly out of to spend and suffering, the tv division of Samsung for the second consecutive quarter loss. Philips announced in april of this year that the production of tvs is transferred to a newly established joint venture with the Chinese TPV.
